All About Marshall

The blog has definitly been all about Marshall - that's why we created it...but never would have realized how EVERYTHING was going to be about Marshall! And Marshall sure knows how to make everything about him! Loves him so much!

He did turn 1 month old on Sunday - can hardly believe he has been here that long already! (Although work is so much less fun with out Mamma Dee here)

Slumber Party

Mommy, Me and Marshall had our first slumber party last night - although I think Marshall and I slumbered alot more than Mommy!

Hope all is well with you and I can report that Mommy, Marshall and even Daddy are all doing great! He is growing so fast! And has LOTS of Gas...but I guess I'd rather have it coming out than having him feel like that - even if Marshall tends to gas more on me than anyone else! ~ erin

Baptism

We baptised Marshall this weekend...and he screamed through all of it! Just hungry I think - but then again he really doesn't enjoy baths, so it could have been the thought of being doused with water! It was a great celebration and we all wish you all could have been there too!

Mom thought that Marshall looked as though he was belting out a song while in this outfit taking these photos. He was getting tired of the camera by this point - but Mom made the best of it and started into a little Frank Sinatra to lighten the mood!

As I was going through Dee's photos from her camera I came across this photo of Dad and Marshall in the hospital. Absolutly NO time was wasted in drill the Husker loyalty into his sons head, but as Mom said..."If the Huskers give my son a full ride - I have no problem liking them." Look for Marshall Bratetic to be part of that starting line up around 2030.

I am behind in the scrapbooking already! There are just so many great pictures I want to get out there and I promised myself I can't do it unless I have it scrapped - that way I have a reason to get it done! When I was in Bloomfield this weekend Dee gave me her memory card so I could get some of the pictures they have been taking. Will work on getting these up here as well! They sure make me feel all fuzzy inside - and make me want one even more! Jon (my boyfriend) says I need to get my fill with Marshall becuase I can't have my own for some time!

Sweet Baby

I just got into all this digital scrapbooking stuff about a year ago and I love it! Made a book for my Mom for Mother's day this past year and used Dee and Loren's Wedding pictures to make them a little coffee table book as well! I plan on taking all of these scrapbooking pages I create of the family and putting them together in a hard cover bound book for Marshall's first birthday! Just thought I would let you know that these lovely pictures have a purpose and place in the near future! Hope you enjoy them here! ~ erin

First Official Photo Shoot

I went down to Bloomfield this weekend and took some (naked) pictures of Marshall - his first 'official' photo shoot. We put together a make shift studio in the bathroom - so we could keep him as warm as possible. Got some great shots! Mom and Dad haven't even seen these yet...so enjoy! There are just so many - I'll try to keep putting a few of my favorites for the next few days! I just love naked newborns! ~ Erin

Hey All ~

I am Erin, Dee's friend from work, and I am the one updating the blog while Dee is out on maternity leave with Marshall. I am not sure if I ever formally introduced myself... Anyway - I don't have any new pictures of Marshall right now, but am hoping to have some new ones after this weekend. Maybe even a few of Mom and Dad too!
