Welcome Peyton Brett! He decided he needed to come to the world NOW and arrived 2 weeks early! Dee welcomed her newest bundle of joy at 11:14am on 8/22/10. He arrived at 7lbs 4oz and is just a sweetheart! CONGRATS to Dee, Loren & new Big Brother Marshall!

Videos Rule

Dee's videos RULE! And because of that I have been slacking in the scrapbooking department! Still working on some things from the beginning of the month! And if I don't keep up now there is going to be absolutly no hope in the next few months! Erin came to visit this weekend and HAD to have Marshall all to herself for one day...so Mom & Dad stole away to get the Christmas Shopping done! Little did we know...of all the things we brought back - the wrapping paper on the tubes would be the biggest hit! So if you are not sure what to get Marshall for Christmas (hell - or even Mom, Dad & Erin...we all got into it) get us the long tubes of wrapping paper BUT they have to still be wrapped in the cellophane...otherwise they don't make as much noise!

As owner of images by Erin, I am pleased to introduce the latest member of our team joining us behind the camera....Mr.Marshall!

As we tried to take family pictures Marshall became more interested in what I was doing behind the camera than being in front of the camera! For a while he would walk around the lights and come plop in my lap and watch the image on the screen pop up! Then he tried for himself (with the help of a remote trigger) and managed to capture some images of Dee and myself! I think it looks like super work...BUT he is too cute to stay solely behind the camera! ~ erin

We had quite the weekend full of events...here are just a few!

Sidewalk Picnic

Labor Day weekend is the unofficial end to summer and many use the weekend to picnic. We weren't going to picnic because we were going to Olive Garden...but little did I know we would get to picnic - just so Marshall could have his afternoon snack! It was great fun and a gorgeous day.

Olive Garden & Shopping

This past weekend was quite event filled! Saturday Mommy, Daddy and Marshall spent a portion of the day shopping in Norfolk for landscaping items. Then on Sunday Mommy, Marshall & Erin made another semi-annual trip to Olive Garden (where Marshall tried his first breadstick & after dinner mint) with a few stops for shopping. Marshall is sure good with the cart...always willing to help! Now that he is walking he wants to get down and go - which makes shopping a fun game of chase Marshall around the clothes racks!

Marshall could become a secret shopper...watch out if you are in retail sales!

Cotton Candy

Marshall got to try Cotton Candy this past weekend too for the first time.

Our Sunday Afternoon

This past Sunday afternoon was spent slaving away in the Kitchen - Marshall supervising and Loren working on the new deck. We canned 50 jars of Spicy Pickled Green Beans...and jammed out to oldies!

Erin brought Marshall a swing for home! Daddy set it up and Mommy strapped Marshall in and everyone enjoyed an evening just swingin! Even Bo played.
